Soulful Toaster – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for visiting Soulful Toaster, we appreciate every visit and every purchase, we like our customers to know that we respect their privacy and that we do our utmost to maintain our high level of site security. The terms and conditions set out below regulate the Agreement between "you" the customer and Soulful Toaster. By placing an order with Soulful Toaster you are offering to purchase the goods detailed within that order, which Soulful Toaster may or may not accept at their sole discretion. If an order is accepted we shall send you a confirmation email to the address provided.

You undertake that all details which you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card details you provide are your own and that there are sufficient funds available to cover the full costs of the transaction. If, for any reason, your card details are incorrect, there are insufficient funds, or for any other reason the order cannot be processed, Soulful Toaster will have the right to cancel the order. If there are any changes to the details you have provided it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible, but we cannot bear responsibility if the order transaction has already been completed. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct for the order, Soulful Toaster will not accept responsibility for goods delivered to an incorrect address as supplied on the order receipt.

DELIVERY

Delivery charges are calculated in respect of the total order value. The charges include for postage & handling and will not exceed £4.95. We endeavour to send your goods promptly once payment has cleared, this is usually within 2-3 working days, however we must allow 7-10 working days for delivery.

RETURNS

Soulful Toaster are committed to providing quality items with a high level of customer service. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you must return this to us in the original packaging within 7 days of the receipt of your order, the cooling off period.  You must inform us of your intent to return within the 7 days by contacting us at mail@soulful-toaster.co.uk. In respect of faulty goods, ie defective or damaged goods, or items not specified on your order acknowledgment, you must inform us of any damage or errors within the 7 days and we shall provide a replacement for the goods or refund the order value to your account.  In respect of non-faulty goods, we will be happy to accept the return of goods within the 7 day period, and offer a refund or exchange to the value of the original goods, please note this does not include any postal charges, which cannot be refunded for non-faulty items.  We cannot however accept goods which have been opened, used or which have damaged packaging. We cannot accept returns for Sale items. All postal costs for returns, except in the case of faulty/damaged items, are to be paid by the Customer and are not the responsibility of Soulful Toaster. We highly recommend that you obtain a certificate of postage for your goods return as we cannot accept responsibility for returned items which are lost or damaged in the post.

SECURITY

Payments are processed via the PayPal Payment Centre which can be used with an existing PayPal account or to process credit & debit card payments.  We also provide payment through Google Checkout Services.

If you have a PayPal account, this is probably the quickest way to complete your transaction with us. PayPal protects your financial information and this information is never submitted to Soulful Toaster, meaning that all your account and card details remain completely anonymous. When completing a transaction via debit or credit card, be assured that all user sensitive details are encrypted which means they can only be read by Soulful Toaster & PayPal and cannot be read via the internet. Should you require any further information on the PayPal transaction process, please refer to the PayPal Security Centre https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_security-center-outside

Google Checkout is available to anyone with an existing Google account allowing you to pay & track your order process through Google online.  Please refer to Google Terms of Service for more information https://checkout.google.com/termsOfService?type=Seller

Soulful Toaster are also committed to your personal security off-line and state that no customer credit card details will be stored on-line or off-line. All personal information is accessed only by authorised personnel. For more information on your personal privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

LIABILITY

We do our utmost to ensure the information provided on the website is accurate, however Soulful Toaster cannot guarantee the information is fault free. Soulful Toaster does not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors in the presentation of goods on the website, and reserve the right to change information, images & descriptions of goods at any time, we shall do our best to correct any errors as quickly as possible having been notified of this. The colours and dimensions of the products portrayed on the site are provided for information purposes only. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee that the colours will be exact as portrayed as this can is determined by your PC or browser.

Soulful Toaster do not make any warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses or contaminating or destructive properties.

WEEE COMPLIANCE

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is a UK law introduced in July 2007 with the aim to reduce the amount of UK waste created by electronic equipment. 

Many electrical items households throw away each year, which typically end up in landfill sites, can be repaired or recycled.  The introduction of the WEEE regulations mean that manufacturers & retailers of electrical equipment are now required to properly dispose of customers old electrical items free of charge.
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste, and sending it to landfill causes lead and other toxins can leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and human health.
 
If you’re not sure whether your electrical item can be recycled, have a look for the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the packaging, or on the item itself. If the symbol appears on the replacement item, this is also an indication that the old model should be recycled

What does this mean to you?
If you live in the UK and purchase a new electrical item from Soulful Toaster, ie a Clock which will replace an old clock in your home & cause you to dispose of this old item as waste, to prevent this item contributing to landfill you can send us your old electrical clock, so that we can take this to a suitable recyling provider on your behalf.

You must return your WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing your new item, all costs of sending your item to us will be the responsibility of the Customer and are not to be borne by Soulful Toaster.  If you wish to return your WEEE item, please contact us by email at mail@soulful-toaster.co.uk beforehand so we can ascertain the compliance to the directive.

Alternatively, you can responsibly dispose of all your old, household electrical equipment through your local amentity site.  You can locate your closest recycling point here www.recycle-more.co.uk
